Hours

All Making Center hours are contingent on University Building Hours.

In response to COVID-19, many Making Center (MC) spaces are open but have adjusted schedules and access protocols to adhere to New School health and safety policies.

The Making Center will be closed from Thursday May 13 – Monday May 31. Facilities will reopen by appointment only on June 1.

Summer 2021 online and on-campus Making Center access will continue to be by appointment only through July 30th.

Specific hours of availability can be found on each Labs, Shops, and Studios page.

All Task Time hours are contingent on University Building Hours.

In addition to staffed Making Center hours, students may access buildings for individual project work (task time) in dedicated areas on campus. Summer 2021 task time hours for each lab and shop are available below.
