The Metropolitan Museum of Art is holding a college party called “Waist Up/Waist Down: An Evening of Schiaparelli and Prada” on Tuesday, May 15, from 8-11 p.m. We would like to invite any and all college students who would like to attend. Join us before the event from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for a Panel Discussion — Defining Chic: Then & Now with Francesca Granata (Parsons Faculty), Leandra Medine (The Man Repeller), Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist), and Lynn Yaeger (Vogue.com Contributing Editor) Moderated by Julie Gilhart (Fashion Consultant)
Current students are invited to applaud the end of the school year in style at a private party with CGM and viewing of The Costume Institute’s special exhibition Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. The event will include comments from Curator Andrew Bolton, an announcement of the accessory design contest winner, and a design workshop with Parsons Professor, Jonathan KYLE Farmer ma(rca).
