Made in Midtown Pop-Up

Please stop by the one-day Made in Midtown Pop-Up Exhibit, Thursday, June 3rd 8:00am – 8:30pm, featuring the work of several Parsons’ students, including Sean Cabezas, Kate Leaver and Gigi Burris among other designers who utilized local resources to make their collections. At Fashion Center/Times Square Pop-Up Space in the Port Authority Bus Terminal
(8th Avenue at 41st Street).

The all-day event is free and open to the public, and will feature a large-scale video installation, displays of locally-produced clothing and an interactive map tracing the garment production process in the neighborhood. Design Trust staff will lead presentations of the study’s key findings at 12:30pm and 1:30pm. One of the Garment District’s competitive advantages is that it functions as a launching pad,  nurturing the next generation of American designers – many of whom get their start at Parsons.
