2015 Ali Schachtschneider

Graduating BFA student Ali Schachtschneider’s senior thesis project “Vivorium” was recently honored with multiple accolades at The Royal Society of Arts US (RSA-US) Student Design Awards, where she received the RSA Leadership Award in Textiles, the Founder’s Portfolio Award, and the Design Innovation Award after presenting her project on April 25th 2015.

“Vivorium” was also published by Dezeen earlier this month.

An excerpt of the project is exhibited in the Concept: Process exhibition as part of the Parsons Festival and is on view until May 22nd at the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries & the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, 66 Fifth Avenue.
