Recycle Clothing Drive Results

During the last week of our Fall Semester, 2010, students in the School of Fashion participated in a “Keep your clothing out of the landfills” project.  We were able to collect 180 pounds of clothing in just one short week, and, recycled clothing through a partnership with Wearable Collections.

A small donation was made as part of this campaign, to the Lower East Side Girls Club. Look for new and continuing initiatives this semester, as part of our Sustainability Club and thank you to everyone who donated their clothing and textiles.
