Jessica Sofia Mitrani is a film director and multi-disciplinary artist and has exhibited at venues internationally, including Jeu de Paume Museum, Paris; Hors Pistes Festival at Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, New York; White Columns Gallery, New  York; FIAF, New York; Museum of Modern Art, Bogotá; and MACRO Museum in Rome, among others. Mitrani’s films have been featured in numerous film festivals and programs such as Women in the Director’s Chair in Chicago, Women Make Movies in New York, in competition in the 47 Oberhaussen Short Film Festival in Germany, and broadcast on the television networks SBS in Australia and ARTE-WDR in France and Germany. This Year Mitrani’s film and performance Traveling Lady has been selected as one of three Hermès Foundation (Fondation d’entreprise Hermès) awardee for their New Settings program.
