Made In NY Fashion Pop Up Call for Designers

Fashion On The Factory Floor is a unique event highlighting the cutting edge talent in design and production emerging in New York City. The event is organized and curated by Pratt Center’s Made In NYC initiative with support from Manufacture New York, Save the Garment Center, and other leaders in New York’s fashion industry.  Fashion on the Factory Floor will present a one of a kind opportunity for up and coming designers who are committed to local manufacturing to sell their goods directly to a large consumer audience.

CATEGORIES TO BE EXHIBITED

Womens and Mens apparel, accessories, leather goods, jewelry, as well as a small curated mini-market of handmade gifts.

PUBLIC SPACE

The marketplace will include two public spaces for milling, seating, workshops, recreating.  The space also offers direct access to a public landscaped 200’ long courtyard and a locally stocked food court.

PROMOTION

The Factory Floor will be supported by a strong PR effort and cross-promotions already happening at Industry City, including a Sandy-focused art event curated by Phong Bui of The Brooklyn Rail. Be sure to like the Made In NYC Facebook Page.
