Hiring: WordPress Developer, User Experience Expert

I am hiring a Student Assistant to work from now until early June, on building a new WordPress site. We have a designer who can assist with look, and front end design elements.  We need your back-end developer expertise!

We are building an open sourced mentoring space, for entrepreneurs to connect with industry mentors using various technology tools you will develop and launch.

As paid Student Assistant, you will create a new WordPress child blog on the Parsons School of Fashion blog. You will work with faculty member, Gretchen Harnick, and my research assistant on adapting the design to user experience needs for the site. You will create a dynamic site, for multi-digital interactions, live chats, cataloging information shared, mass contributors, and meet deadlines and goals of building this project.

Must be a current New School student, international students welcome as long as I can register you quickly in the Student Assistant paid program.

NEEDS: Experience in WordPress development. Back end, high impact and interest in user experience. Comfortable taking initiative, communicating with team, sharing and launching ideas. We need a team partner to support our ideas and research coming to life in this space. Please include links to work developed.
