Fashion Show Dressers Needed!
Looking for 16 – 18 volunteers with some dressing experience.

This would be a great experience for them to work with a new up-and-coming designer from Spain as well as work with an amazing dressing supervisor from The Ground Crew.

Here are the details about the designer and for the show:
Maria ke Fisherman is a Spanish designer making their first debut in NY at NY Fashion Week. The company has been selected twice as a candidate for the “Vogue Who’s on Next” Award, which selects the best up-and-coming designer in the country. Additionally, they have dressed many famous celebrities, including most recently the outfit worn by Miley Cyrus at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Looking for volunteers during Fashion Week!

For fashion show production – they will be helping out Production Assistants before the shows, and will be assigned tasks leading up to the show – they will get the overall experience of what happens before showtime and the craziness that is backstage, plus seeing it all come together. More Fashion Week Opportunities!

This season, during New York Fashion Week, MADE will play host to 15 Runway Shows and 15 Presentations from Thursday, February 6th through Wednesday, February 12th 2014. Each season, MADE takes on a group of volunteers from Parsons to assist the Milk Studios Events Team
over the course of Fashion Week. Volunteers will get to experience the excitement and energy of Fashion Week first-hand, while learning about the production of a large-scale event. The top all-star volunteers will
receive the opportunity to interview for a Summer internship with the Events Team at Milk Studios!

SHADES OF GREY is a fashion industry production company based in New York City. The company works with a variety of clients ranging from established designers to emerging design talent, and works across a mix of formats, including runway, presentations, special events and installations.
We are looking for interns for the spring semester, starting immediately with focus on the FW14 show season (February 1 – February 15, and throughout the remainder of the spring semester).

Potential applicants should:
– Demonstrate at minimum, a passion for fashion show and event production, preferably coupled with past experience or internships either in events or public relations
– Be comfortable working both regular and odd hours, including early days, late nights and weekends in the
week before and during New York Fashion Week
– High level of initiative and sense of urgency with strong follow through
– Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
– Proven problem solving skills
– Have outstanding communication skills and be able to interface professionally with high profile client
representatives and executives
– Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Apple Keynote; basic proficiency with
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

Internship is unpaid and for school credit only. Interns will be provided with a $50 weekly transportation stipend.

Requirements:
When not working on-site with a client, interns will work at our office in Chelsea and should be available 3-4 days per week leading up to and following fashion week, and available every day between February 7th
and February 12th.

Responsibilities:
Interns will be assigned to either an executive producer or associate producer at the agency, and will serve as
an apprentice during fashion week. Tasks will vary based on client and assignment, but interns should expect to
leave fashion week with a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with the requirements of planning and
executing high level fashion events. Interns should have a cell phone with data access; laptops will be provided as
needed.

InDigital Media is looking for bright, energetic, motivated and dedicated interns/volunteers to assist our production management team during New York Fashion Week – Autumn/Winter 2014 season.

Production interns/volunteers will be responsible for various tasks such as:
– Assisting camera crews on various film productions
– Production running – around the Lincoln Center and Manhattan
– Organizing crew meals
– Social media management

Spring Studios is looking for highly motivated, self-starting Parsons Volunteers with an interest in Fashion and Design to assist with the logistics of NYFW. Volunteers are needed for both daytime and evening shifts between Wednesday Feb 5th – Thursday Feb 13th.

Spring Studios will be a new creative services facility in New York. The facility will be a home to Spring’s creative advertising agency. It will also offer photography and films studios, events spaces, outdoor rooftop
spaces, casting suites, private cinema and gourmet dining.
