Fiona Diefffenbacher, author of the forthcoming AVA book Fashion Process, has just returned from the Italian session of the Fashion Colloquia, organised in collaboration with the London College of Fashion, Domus Academy, Institut Francais de la Mode and Parsons The New School for Design In New York. The schools are partnering on this series, which is being hosted by the colleges in all four fashion capitals. Fashion Colloquia Milano, held during Milan Fashion Week, saw a number of fashion experts presenting on ‘Time vs Creativity’ and ‘Fashion system and intangible values’. Fiona’s original proposal was based on the premise of her book. Visit the Domus Academy website for more information and to view the presentations. Fiona is Director of the BFA Fashion Design course at Parsons. Look out for some of the slides from her presentation coming soon to the AVA book blog.
