Design Internship Position at FULLBEAUTY

Internship description:
The Design Intern will assist the Design team in all phases of the design process. Interns get paid and will need to be able to work full time for 40 hours of work per week. Opportunity of being hired after a good term of work.

Responsibilities:
Assisting in all aspects of collection creation and execution
Participating in creation and execution of color and trend presentations
Maintaining print, fabric, trim and swipe libraries
Assisting designers in creating seasonal palettes and assembling color cards
Helping in creating trend presentations; opportunity exists to shop for materials and trends
Contributing ideas and conceptions for collection design
Liaising with Sourcing, Merchandising, Tech Design and CAD Design
Background required:
Creative, detail-oriented students with a love for design and preference for working with strong teams wanted
Excellent flat sketching ability
Intermediate knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Knowledge of CAD a plus
Knowledge of garment construction and pattern making preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask required
