Call for Submissions! Parsons x I.T + Izzue x Tsinghua University

Dear Rising Juniors and Rising Seniors

The School of Fashion in collaboration with Beijing based Tsinghua University are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of leading forward fashion retailer I.T with the IZZUE Tsinghua Fashion Design Competition to take place in Beijing China, August 2013. All Rising Juniors and Seniors are invited be considered for participation by preparing an entry according to the enclosed guidelines due to internally by July 18th. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a design challenge inclusive of travel to Beijing later THIS SUMMER!

If selected and invited to participate, you will be awarded travel to Beijing in August for a first round one day design challenge constructing innovative 3D outcomes using past season IZZUE sample garments alongside other participating schools from the UK and Asia. Second phase finalists will be invited to create 3 complete looks also from provided materials and will be accommodated in Beijing.

Winners will receive several opportunities including a two month Internship based in Hong Kong at IZZUE and opportunity to be showcased  in S/S 2014 Paris Fashion Week.
