A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

A solo exhibition of new artworks on canvas and photography by Anna Coroneo. (Parsons, Fashion Marketing Alumni). Inspired by the notion of a single image that instantly articulates a concept, Coroneo juxtaposes photographs that are explorations of textures found in nature, with a series of ink painted canvasses emphasizing text and words from everyday email vernacular. “WOWwowWOW”, “YayyayYay” “HaHaHa”, examples of such online slang and colloquialisms are highlighted by the artist.
