Call for Entries: Independent Handbag Designer Awards

The Independent Handbag Designer Awards (IHDA), presented by InStyle and Handbag Designer 101,  announce a call for submissions for the fifth annual IHDA recognizing excellence in design. Winners will be announced June 15, 2011.

To apply for the 2011 Independent Handbag Designer Awards visit their site here, learn about the various categories and submit your entry. Applications will be accepted through April 30, 2011.

Now in its fifth year, the event continues to grow. Last year, they received nearly 1,000 submissions from more than 30 countries. The IHDA celebrate talented, emerging accessories designers. Students are eligible to enter any of the categories, not limiting to just the Student category.

There are nine categories, including best Green Design, and Audience Fan Favorite, selected by InStyle readers, and the winner has their bag appearing in September’s InStyle magazine.  Spread the word and good luck to all who enter!
