Three Parsons students heading to China

This week, three Parsons students found out they were selected as finalists, in the Izzue x Tsinghua Design Award competition.  The lucky three, Michelle Brown, Ximon Lee and Elias Gurrola head to Beijing and the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University campus for the next phase.

They will be part of a 5-hour design challenge. They will pull from the brand Izzue’s archive, and utilizing the them, “Environmental Awareness”, create their own unique garment.

Finalists work will be on display, for online voting after August 26. Vote for your favorite and they could win a trip to Paris Fashion Week, or designing a capsule colleciton with Izzue.  And, if you vote, you also have the chance to win a gift card from Izzue. Winners all around!
