Volunteer: Mardi Gras Costume Making Workshop

Fashion Students and Faculty are needed to volunteer in a Costume Making Workshop for the Lower East Side Girls Club.  Assist revelers prepare their costumes for the Girls Club Annual Mardi Gras Ball.  Patricia Field will be judging costumes, and you are welcome to purchase tickets to attend the Ball, 21 years and over only.

COSTUME WORKSHOP TIMES:
Sat. March 5: 3pm – 6pm
Sun. March 6: 1pm – 4pm

WHERE:  Girls Club Art+Community Gallery @ 56 East 1st Street.

Sewing machines, fabric and supplies all provided (extra materials are welcome too). They are in need of design direction, technical expertise, creativity and energy!
