Last Orientation of the Semester will be Wednesday Nov 22 2017.  There will be no more orientations after the Thanksgiving Break.  Please prepare accordingly

The Laser Cutting Lab consists of nine laser cutters that can be used to cut and engrave a variety of approved plastics and natural materials. Students are required to complete an orientation before using the lab.  Please also consult the laser lab approved materials list and our laser cutting guidelines before using the Laser Cutters.  Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or AutoCAD is strongly advised.  See below for orientation and reservation links


RESERVATIONS (Orientation is a Pre-requisite)

Sign in to WebCheckOut with your netID and password and choose a time.

Individuals may only reserve one hour of laser cutting time per day, and only one machine at a time.  

Reservations can only be made on Laser cutters 1 through 8.  The Epilog Large format laser is walk-in only.  Students must be trained and accompanied by a staff member when using the Epilog.

Laser Cutter Orientation is MANDATORY for everyone before using the lab.


Individual Orientations will be held at the following times:

Mon, Weds, Thurs @ 12pm (noon)

Friday @ 10am
