On November 6th, the collaboration between Parsons alumni Alexander Wang and H&M will hit 250 stores worldwide and online. Since 2007, the New York based designer has been pushing boundaries in the fashion industry and his brand has become famous for blending everyday wear with high fashion cuts.

The collaboration has been kept under wraps for a while; but recent campaign photos, celebrities such as Rihanna sporting an outfit from the collection during NYFW and an even more recent Instagram video posted by Wang and H&M, it’s clear that our wait will definitely be rewarded. The collection appears to resemble Wang’s trademark “sporty” look often featured in his main line. The designer has real-life athletes and models sporting the clothes to, in his words, “portray the ultimate warrior.”

Alexander Wang x H&M is filled with “high-end sportswear”, lots of black and greys, the logo Wang printed on almost every item, leather backpacks and oversized outerwear. Wang even revisited his bestselling “Freja” Boots especially for this one-of-a-kind collaboration.

The line will even include original pieces. When the partnership was first announced, Wang stated: “I wanted to create a collection where most of the pieces have been designed from scratch. Rather than creating affordable versions of expensive items, I wanted to design true performance pieces that are within the natural price points of sportswear of H&M, so we were able to create the best version of these pieces, through our vocabulary.”

So mark your calendars, and pray for November to come quickly!
